Description – Slow shutter speed of Davidson River
Location – Pisgah National Forest
At a conference at Kanuga the keynote speaker kept making the point “You have to be present.” I decided to test the point and spent 30 minutes plus on the river scene before ever taking the camera out of the camera bag. Then I made this image and several others without moving the tripod. This is one of my pictures of the year.
Note: My goal as a photographer is to make one good photograph … a year.
All prints are printed on archival paper with Giclée pigment inks.
